well this takes that idea to a whole new level - this NZ woman lost her legs, so she had a prosthetic mermaid suit made and now she is a mermaid - check it out:

Cool story to share! I wish I could figure out just how I'd really like my lemonade, and that I could get a team of fairy godmothers helping me out.
Imagine having a costume/special effects team make you a personalized custom suit to make your dreams come true.... Like actually make dreams come true.
